Tom Hollinger
Tom Hollinger is a Washington, Connecticut resident. He is always on the lookout for that evocative photo filled with light or mystery. In addition to photography, he has been a plein air painter for over thirty years. Tom likes to paint seascapes and paintings with a historical theme. As a member of the Washington Art Association, he has studied with Trey Freidman, Bob Lenz, Ira Barkov and Ed Devoe. On Martha’s Vineyard, he has studied with Millie Briggs, Ned Reed, and Susan Nichter. Tom has worked at The Gunnery for 27 years as an administrator and teacher. For Tom, it’s all about the light and the moment in time and the story found therein. Two of his paintings hang in the Town Clerk’s Office in the Washington Town Hall.
