Books & Art on Main is an independent bookstore located in a beautiful and historic former library building in Plymouth, CT. We offer used and new books (fiction, nonfiction, art, crafts, gardening, cooking, home, history, writing, biography, nature, poetry, religion, Bibles, children’s books), plus sidelines such as journals, as well as framed art, art supplies, vintage items, CDs, and giftware. Currently we are open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from noon to 5, plus holiday Mondays and by appointment.

Kildonan’s Camp Dunnabeck

Kildonan’s Camp Dunnabeck, in operation since 1955, balances one-to-one Orton-Gillingham language remediation with outstanding recreational activities for six whole weeks of school readiness and FUN! Now located on the campus of the Marvelwood School in Kent, CT. Camp Dunnabeck is open to boys and girls ages 8 to 16 with dyslexia or language-based learning differences.

The Snuggery

The Snuggery Bed & Breakfast, situated in the heart of Litchfield County, offers a charming country getaway steeped in history. It is an ideal destination for those wanting to explore the beauty of the region. Built in 1840, this historic Greek Revival residence has maintained much of its original character and unique architectural charm, allowing guests to feel as though they are stepping back in time. The two-bedroom private suite is located on the second floor, so be prepared to climb the historic front hall stairs. In the suite, you will find two beautifully appointed bedrooms, a sitting area, and a full bathroom, all of which have been newly renovated and updated with modern amenities. Enjoy a full range of breakfast foods and snacks to kickstart your day of adventure. After your day of exploration, we invite you to unwind with a glass of wine fireside in our first-floor parlor.

Undermountain Pantry

Undermountain Pantry is a farm to table cooking school with a micro bakery and organic gardens. Our cooking classes highlight seasonal ingredients from our own gardens and local farms. Our sourdough breads and baked goods are available weekly at different pick up locations on a pre-order basis: Ilse Coffee in Canaan, The Norfolk Hub, and Beavertides Farm in Falls Village. American Mural Project (AMP)

AMP is a nonprofit organization that celebrates American workers and inspires collaboration. In addition to its centerpiece “art of work” mural exhibit—the largest indoor collaborative artwork in the world—AMP offers educational programs for all ages and an eclectic lineup of live events. AMP’s mural exhibit depicts diverse workers on a grand scale and tells real-life workers’ stories. The exhibit is open to the public on Fridays (10am-5pm), Saturdays (10am-5pm), and Sundays (12pm-5pm). Volunteers support AMP’s mission through program assistance, event help, and maintaining this unique cultural landmark, which is a renovated historic mill building.
