Steal My Style Market

Steal My Style Market x Mobile Pub Events
A Community Thrift Pop-Up Event

Steal My Style Market is a community thrift pop-up bringing together local sellers, fashion lovers, and sustainable style—all under one roof. Hosted in collaboration with Mobile Pub Events, this event turns thrifting into a social, feel-good experience where connection is just as important as the clothes.

How It Works: Sell • Shop • Connect

SELL
Sellers reserve a rack space for a small fee and bring their own pre-loved clothing, accessories, and style finds. Each seller sets their own prices, manages their own sales, and keeps 100% of their earnings. We’re currently looking for sellers/vendors, whether you’re cleaning out your closet, reselling, or sharing your personal style with the community.

SHOP
Every rack is curated by a different seller, making this a true thrift-style treasure hunt. Browse freely and purchase directly from sellers. Shopping is free—please grab a FREE ticket so we can prepare for attendance and create the best experience possible.

CONNECT
This pop-up is about more than shopping—it’s about community. Meet local sellers, support small businesses, connect with fellow fashion lovers, and enjoy the relaxed, social atmosphere of the Mobile Pub Events space.

Where: Mobile Pub Events Space
9 Container Drive, Terryville, CT
When: Saturday, January 11
Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Sound Bath Meditation Series!

The use of vibrational healing modalities and sound instruments activates the relaxation response to calm the mind, relax the body to release emotions and nourish your soul. Sound healing works by activating the parasympathetic nervous system—the opposite of fight/flight.

This modality helps with chronic stress and anxiety, muscle tension, sleep disorders, stuck emotions, high blood pressure and so much more.
It is also known to improve creativity, your senses and cultivate more body awareness.

Join Jeanine Chayka, the owner of Inspired Vibrations, as she offers a group session of Sound and Vibrational Healing to heal the mind, body and spirit.
She will use a variety of sound tools such as crystal and Himalayan bowls, chimes and drums to assist in activation the relaxation response to calm your mind, relax your body and balance your nervous system. It helps to release stress, emotions and nourish the soul.

We’ll be offering a three session series over the course of three months with Jeanine on the second Wednesday of each month, beginning on Wednesday, January 14 at 6:30 pm. Sessions held at the James Morris School auditorium. Please bring a mat and / or chair for your comfort.

The average person will speak 123,205,750 words in a lifetime. But what if there were a limit? Oliver and Bernadette are about to find out. This play imagines a world where we’re forced to say less. It’s about what we say and how we say it; about the things we can only hear in the silence; activism, eye contact, and lemons, lemons, lemons, lemons, lemons.

Permaculture Design Cert. Course

Flanders is hosting a Permaculture Design Certification (PDC) course in collaboration with Northwest Conservation District. This program is designed to immerse participants in information, ideas, and inspiration on how to design sustainable, regenerative systems for your home and property.
Permaculture is a design philosophy that aims to meet our essential needs through systems that mimic the patterns and relationships found in natural ecosystems. To understand permaculture, we first need to observe nature deeply and be informed by it.
Your home is its own eco-system. By studying permaculture, you can apply principles of environmentalism and sustainability to ensure the maximum productivity of your home and land, while minimizing the resources required to maintain it.
