Celebrate the Season with Holiday Tea & Music at the Gunn Library
Featuring Pianist Sandra Simpson-Kleisner
As the days grow colder, there’s no better time to gather with neighbors and friends. To celebrate the spirit of the season, the Gunn Library warmly invites you to a Holiday Tea with Music—an afternoon of festive cheer, live piano music, and comforting tea.
Local pianist Sandra Simpson-Kleisner will fill the library with seasonal melodies—both familiar and heartwarming—creating the perfect backdrop for conversation, reflection, and celebration.
Whether you’re a longtime library supporter or visiting for the first time, this is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the festive atmosphere, meet community members, and enjoy the true meaning of the holidays: togetherness, joy, and gratitude.
Sandra Simpson-Kleisner has been active in the area as a music teacher, pianist, accompanist, and voice coach. She has been the musical director at the Roxbury Congregational Church since 1999. She has performed solo and chamber music concerts at the Gunn Library and other venues. She is presently teaching private piano at the Montessori school in Washington and at the Roxbury Church. She is enjoying being an accompanist for Chorus Angelicus and the Kent Singers. She also finds time to study the works of Bach, Beethoven, Faure, Mendelssohn, Mozart—to name a few- and takes care of her dog, Lady.
Registration is required.
