Start your summer by attending the theatrical event of the season!
The northwest Connecticut premiere of A Goodnight Kiss: Goshen’s Civil War Love Story takes place on June 6, 7, and 8 at Goshen Old Town Hall. Tickets $15, purchase here: https://goshenplayer.booktix.com/dept/main/e/Kiss
Please note: The Sunday, June 8 performance includes a Q&A session with a panel of Civil War historians following the show.
In 1863, when handwritten letters carried news of hope or despair, a correspondence began between two young Connecticut residents whose relationship blossomed in the shadow of the Civil War. Missed opportunities, unreliable mail, and the ever-present threat of tragedy shape the deeply moving true story revealed in the letters, proving human connection transcends all adversity.
Written by award-winning international playwright Cinzi Lavin and directed/produced by Kathy Kelly, co-star of an Emmy Award-winning TV series, A Goodnight Kiss boasts a stellar cast led by David Macharelli and Olivia Wadsworth.
