On Tuesday, April 21st at 2 pm the David M. Hunt Library will host Linda Ciano of Project Sage to lead an interactive workshop on digital safety tailored specifically for adults aged 55+. With cybercrime and digital abuse on the rise, it’s important for everyone to be aware of the dangers and – even more important – to be ready with a plan for when something goes wrong. Ciano will begin by outlining some of the threats people face in today’s digital world, and then examine how adults can assemble a team of trusted relatives, friends, and professionals and put together a plan of action for responding to whatever may come their way, from phishing scams to cyber harassment.
