Join us as local author Jodiann Tenney discusses her debut novel, Carefully Vetted, a heartfelt story which blends small-town charm and a love for animals.
Dr. Maddy Moore has enough on her plate: two kids, a never-ending line of four-legged patients, and exactly zero interest in dating. Her idea of romance? A glass of wine on the porch, a hot bath, and an emptied dishwasher.
So, when an entitled, famous actor comes to town, sparks fly and headlines swirl in her sleepy Northwest Connecticut town. Maddy must decide: is this just another role he’s playing—or the start of something real?
Jodiann Tenney is a fiction lover, educator, and dedicated community volunteer. After raising two sons and earning a doctoral degree in educational administration, she decided it was finally time to try her hand at her favorite genre—romance. Carefully Vetted is her debut novel. Jodiann lives in Litchfield with her husband and mischievous dachshund, Fritz.
