Live,Learn,Lunch: Nature Therapy

12:00 pm – 1:30 pm

Join Certified Forest Therapy Guide Karen Bernartz of Moss & Moon Forest Therapy for an introduction to the practice of Forest Therapy, also known as Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku).

This presentation will explore the benefits of mindful connection with nature, including stress reduction, sensory awareness, relaxation, and attention restoration. Guests will learn what a guided Forest Therapy session looks like, how nature impacts overall wellbeing, and why this practice is becoming an increasingly valued form of wellness support in today’s fast-paced world.

Karen will share beautiful imagery from local forests, discuss the science and philosophy behind Forest Therapy, and offer insight into how slowing down in nature can positively support both mental and physical wellbeing.

A question-and-answer discussion will follow the presentation.

Pre-registration required for lunch headcount.
