The Judy Black Memorial Park and Gardens is pleased to welcome Stephanie Lear Henderson and her exhibition, “In Color,” hosted by KMR Arts, on view at the park beginning Friday, May 1. This show features the artist’s abstract paintings using simple forms and bold colors.

An opening reception will be held on Saturday, May 9 from 3 to 5 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

Henderson’s paintings depict disciplined shapes with playful color combinations, drawing on the knowledge that color can influence human psychology, behavior, health and emotions. Her works focus on simplicity of form rendered in bold color combinations, tapping into the positive energy of those colors.
