The Connecticut Summer Opera Foundation

This new foundation is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to advancing the careers of conservatory-trained operatic vocalists by offering a summer residency in vocal performance in the beautiful Litchfield Hills. Their Litchfield Hills Food, Wine and Opera Gala-A Musical Feast! was a huge success this summer, so we are looking forward to next summer’s repeat performance.

Morrison Gallery

A wonderful gallery that exhibits the work of emerging regional artists, contemporary luminaries, and modern masters. They represent many local artists such as Robert Andrew Parker and Gary Komarin, as well as legends like Hans Hoffman, Cleve Gray, and Wolf Kahn. The large main gallery allows for the exhibition of major works and large scale sculpture, while adjoining rooms provide a more intimate setting for smaller pieces.
