Open Group Hike in West Cornwall

Come hike the Mount Tarradiddle/Matland Preserve Trail with the Cornwall Conservation Trust at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 13th.

In association with CT Open House Day, the CCT is leading a hike on this 1.6 mile partial loop trail through pristine Northwest Corner forest. There’s not much of a view, unless you’re trying to look at some of the most beautiful woods around, in which case, the whole hike is views!

The moderately difficult trail leads up some steep terrain, including ancient stone walls with unsecured rocks, and an elevation gain around 325 feet. Poles suggested, but not required for less sure-footed hikers.

Parking is between 350, and 330 Sharon-Goshen Tpke. on the West-bound side of the road. Additional parking at Cornwall Consolidated School.
