Enjoy a full day of creativity, camaraderie, and sewing fun at the Makerspace! Bring a project or two from home and spend the day creating with the Makerspace’s sewing and embroidery machines. Need inspiration or just getting started with sewing? We’ll also provide supplies and a written step-by-step tutorial to make a beginner-friendly quilted pillow cover. Although this is not a formal class, the Makerspace Specialist will be on hand to show you how to use the machines, answer questions, decipher project instructions, and cheer you on as you complete your projects.
The program will break from 12-1 for independent lunch. Participants are welcome to bring a lunch to eat outside or venture to the Depot for the break.
