Native Plant Tour and Sale
Native plant curious? Join the Falls Village Gardeners from 11 am to 2 pm on Saturday, June 27th, to learn more about gardening and landscaping with native plants. Volunteers will be on hand at the Village Green next to 107 Main Street to answer questions and distribute brochures featuring a map and garden descriptions for self-guided tours of downtown Falls Village native plantings. Explore our village and the gardens that have been planted to create beauty, enhance ecological sustainability, provide wildlife and pollinator habitat, and support biodiversity.
At noon, stop by David M. Hunt Library at 63 Main Street for a guided walk with the garden designers Page Dickey and Deb Munson, who planned the library native gardens.
There will be a native plant sale from 11 am to 2 pm on the Village Green, with plants from Lindera, the Falls Village native plant nursery. Michele Paladino will be on hand to answer your questions about native plants, their habits and uses for natives in your landscape. This event will be held rain or shine.
