Charlie Sigler – Bandleader, Guitar
Known for his soulful sound and deep connection to the jazz tradition, Charlie Sigler brings vibrant energy and creative possibility to every performance. Originally from the Baltimore/Washington area, he earned his degree in Jazz Performance from William Paterson University, where he studied with legendary artists including Mulgrew Miller, Harold Mabern, and Gene Bertoncini.

Now based in Jersey City, Charlie has become a distinctive voice on the international jazz scene, performing alongside masters such as Christian McBride, Slide Hampton, Billy Hart, Victor Lewis, Akiko Tsuruga, Lenny White, and Winard Harper. His guitar work—both lyrical and full of groove—has taken him to stages around the world, from New York’s premier jazz clubs to major festivals including the Charlie Parker Festival, Montclair Jazz Festival, and Marians Jazzroom in Switzerland.
In addition to leading his own trio and organ groups, Charlie is dedicated to jazz education, serving on the faculty at Montclair State University and mentoring young players through Jazz House Kids and Litchfield Jazz Camp.
