Family Book Club

Tuesday, November 18 at 6:00 PM
In Person only. Registration required.

OWL and the Litchfield PTO invite LCS and LIS families to participate in our first Family Book Club!

Featured book: Orris and Timble by Kate DiCamillo

Borrow a copy of the book from OWL and read it together as a family at your leisure. Then join us on November 18 to discuss the book as we make a friendship-themed craft.

Orris the rat lives alone in an old barn surrounded by his treasures, until the day his solitude is disrupted by a sudden flutter of wings and a loud screech. A small owl has gotten caught in a trap in the barn. Orris must decide whether to help the trapped owl, despite their natural enmity. Kate DiCamillo brings us the first of three tales celebrating unlikely friendships and making noble choices.

This is a free event, and pizza will be provided for all participants! We kindly ask that you register.
