Arts Alliance of Woodbury President Marc Russell will show recent photographs at the Woodbury Public Library Gallery during the month of September with a reception for the artist on Sept. 6 at 2:00 PM

The exhibit takes two directions in showcasing Mr. Russell’s photography. Landscape photographs made during visits to our National Parks are shown along with images created in the garden and the studio. Many of the photographs are made using 4×5 black and white film and printed by Mr.Russell in his darkroom and also featuring images from his Garlic and Mushroom series. Mr.Russell says, “Nature’s inspiration is boundless. Taking time to enjoy, examine and reflect often leads to new discoveries. His work comes from explorations while hiking and traveling as well as in the garden, where nature provides the colorful, varied and wonderful array of forms, patterns, shapes and textures.
