Embark on an Adventure for All Ages at Prospect Mountain in Litchfield, CT

Litchfield, CT – June 7, 2025 – much-anticipated The Hunt: Scavenger Hunt on Prospect Mountain, presented by the Litchfield Land Trust, is set to take place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This exciting outdoor scavenger hunt invites families to explore the beautiful trails of Prospect Mountain while participating in engaging scavenger hunts designed for kids all ages.
Event Details:

Registration: This event is free and open to the public. Advanced registration is preferred; donations are welcome.
The event will feature two distinct scavenger hunts, both taking place along the scenic trails of Prospect Mountain. They will both begin and end at the parking lot at the Pepper Meadow Trailhead. The first scavenger hunt will be held in The Pepper Meadow from 10-12, with walking trails and activities perfect for children under age 7 from. The second hunt begins at 10:00 at the Pepper Meadow Spur Trail, leading into the scenic Prospect Mountain trails. Designed for children ages 7 and up, this adventure invites young explorers on an exciting quest to uncover natural wonders and hidden historical treasures along the way.
Important: Parents or guardians must accompany children throughout both hunts.
