Join us for an interactive garden-themed story time in English and Spanish with KidsPlay volunteers, Humphry Rolleston and Carmen Neale. We will explore the natural history of the garden and learn about agriculture in New England at the Tapping Reeve Meadow in Litchfield. Each week will feature a different topic including rocks and soil, pollinators and other garden helpers, traditional garden plants, and textile crops with hands-on STEM activities and story extenders that promote early literacy and language exploration.

For outdoor events, we are asking visitors (ages 2+) to wear masks if they cannot maintain social distancing. Bringing a mask is advised for you and your child for any hands-on collaborative projects.
