This June marks thirty years since the passing of Manos Hadjidakis, Greece’s most important composer of the 20th century. In addition to being awarded with an Oscar for his music to the film “Never On Sunday”, Hadjidakis is know outside of Greece for his work with Harry Belafonte, Nat King Cole and Peggy Lee. In Europe, he is best loved for the music he recorded with Greek-born Nana Mouskouri, one of the highest-selling female recording artists in the world. Join us as Marina Eleni and Petros Hatjopoulos bring his stunning melodies to life.
