The Sherman Artists Association is featuring a show “August Light” in the Kent Art Association Building, 21 S. Main St, Kent, Connecticut. This is the first time the Sherman Artist Association has had a show in Kent and there are over 30 artists participating with over 100 works of art! The opening reception is Friday, August 4, from 6 – 8 pm, with light refreshments and live music. The show is open from August 5 – 27, 2023, Thursday-Saturday 1-5 and Sundays 12-4. The artists, both established and new, are from New York State and Connecticut Fairfield and Litchfield counties. There are more than 100 pieces of art ranging from glass work, painting, photography and mixed media, both contemporary and traditional. It is a must see show.
