June 6th is CT Trails Day and Litchfield Land Trust will be celebrating with a Scavenger Hunt along the scenic trails of Prospect Mountain located at 309 Prospect Mountain Road, Litchfield.  There will be a scavenger hunt in the Pepper Meadow from 10-12, with walking trails and activities perfect for children under the age of 7.  The other scavenger hunt begins at 10:00 am at the Pepper Meadow Spur Trail.  This event is designed for children 7 and up and invites young explorers on an exciting quest to uncover natural wonders and hidden treasures along the way.  It’s important that Parents or Guardians must accompany children throughout both hunts.  Advanced registration is preferred.
