Paintings: Rearranging the Furniture
The Cornwall Library is delighted to present Rearranging the Furniture, an exhibition of the latest abstract oil painting from artist and psychotherapist Molly Morgan.
The show runs from September 7 to October 19, with an opening reception on Saturday, September 7 from 5 to 7. Registration for the reception on the library website is requested.
Molly Morgan began making art as a way to self-reflect and process her work with psychotherapy clients. She developed a committed painting practice during the COVID lockdown. Her work explores the parallels between therapy and creating art, and her focus is on the process of making art as a tool for self-discovery and transformation. This series of paintings was inspired by a client’s observation that therapy felt like “rearranging the furniture inside.”
