Saturday & Sunday, September 21-22

Free fly-casting and shooting lessons; falconry, hunting dog, and game cooking demonstrations; and a variety of hands-on activities for the kids—the whole family will enjoy the Orvis Game Fair. Plus, you’ll find dozens of exhibitors and vendors, food concession, and a farmers market on both days!

Clays Shooting Events
The Orvis Cup: 100 target tournament with prizes, awards, and much more. Sunday only—pre-registration required.
America’s Clays Cup: 50 target tournament with commemorative ball cap and awards. Saturday only.
Other clay opportunities include Sporting Clays, Driven Flurry, Five Stand, and Long Target.

Free Fly-Casting & Clays Shooting Lessons
Orvis Shooting Instructors will guide you at our “try it out” stations for clays shooting—take your first shot here!
Orvis Fly-Fishing Instructors will be on hand all-day both days for free casting instruction and demos.

Birds of Prey Demonstrations
Expert bird handlers will teach you all about the local birds of prey: See hawks and owls work during this hands-on demo.

Game Cooking Demonstrations
It’s game cooking demystified! Our famed local chefs will take you from ingredients to delicious eats in these interactive cooking demos.

Gundog Scurry
A fun, “have-a-go” competition aimed at finding the dog that retrieves a dummy in the fastest time. Prizes for the quickest dog each day.

Dog Demonstrations
Dog training experts and handlers will be here to show you some great training tips, discuss important nutritional needs for your dog, and much more.
