New Milford GOAT Days Returns for Its 7th Year with Farm Fun, Hot Air Balloon Rides, and Community Spirit, May 16-18, 2025

New Milford, CT – May 5, 2025 – The New Milford Greatest-Of-All-Towns (GOAT) Days Festival, a cherished celebration of local farms, businesses, and community, returns for its seventh year at Young’s Field, 6 Young’s Field Road, New Milford, CT, from May 16-18, 2025. Hosted by Goatboy Soaps, this free event offers a weekend of family-friendly fun, with all proceeds donated to local charities.

Running Friday, May 16 (4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.), Saturday, May 17 (10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.), and Sunday, May 18 (10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.), Young’s Field will come alive with small-town charm. Attendees can cuddle baby goats and bunnies, enjoy pony rides, soar above the festival in hot air balloon rides, and thrill to carnival rides. A carousel adds classic fun, while food trucks serve local favorites, including apple cider doughnuts from Averill Farm. Axe-throwing, demonstrations from the New Milford Police and Water Witch Hose Company #2, and local vendors like Create A Castle will delight visitors. Nonprofits will offer kid-friendly activities, showcasing community impact.

Since 2019, when Goatboy Soaps founders Rick and Lisa Agee welcomed over 1,000 visitors to their farm, GOAT Days has grown into a cornerstone event, drawing over 5,000 attendees annually. Now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, New Milford GOAT Days Inc. has raised over $40,000 for local charities, strengthening the community.

“We’re excited to celebrate seven years of GOAT Days, bringing New Milford together for unforgettable moments,” said Michelle Agee, event coordinator. “From hot air balloon rides to baby goats, this festival is about joy and giving back.”
