Nature is Nurture

A fundraiser in support of LARC’s programs and services for individuals with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities, Nature is Nurture will explore the healing benefits of forest bathing! Ancient philosophies understood what research has now confirmed–time spent with trees has a profound positive effect on human biology and emotional wellness. Forest bathing is free, requires no special equipment, and can be done alone or with a crowd! Enjoy sumptuous hors d’oeuvres, selections of wine and craft beer, silent auction with nature-themed items/experiences, and live entertainment.

Tickets are $60 per person.

The event takes place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Tall Timbers, LARC’s 165-acre facility and home of Camp MOE, located at 1145 Brandy Hill Road, Torrington, CT 06790
