BlackBerry is the story of the meteoric rise and catastrophic demise of the world’s first smartphone. In the early 2000s, BlackBerry was the go-to device for business professionals and government officials alike.  However, as the smartphone market became more crowded, BlackBerry lost its edge. By the late 2000s, it was being outpaced by Apple’s iPhone and Samsung’s Galaxy devices. This is a cautionary tale about the dangers of complacency and a reminder that even the most successful companies can be brought down by changing market conditions. R 2h.
