Ryan is a graduate of the Parsons School of Design, and a member of the Arts Student League of New York. Her watercolors and acrylics range from large complex still lifes, to landscapes, to lush florals, to coastal seascapes. Her current focus is Connecticut farms and barns, hoping to raise awareness to their unfortunate and rapid disappearance. Her paintings have been collected in the U.S. and the U.K. In 2005, Ryan was honored to be juried into the prestigious Mystic Seaport’s 26th Annual International Art Exhibition, with her painting, “It’s A Keeper.”
