Songs of the British Isles

In an abundance of caution for the safety of our valued audience, The Kent Singers’ March 22 concert has been rescheduled for Sunday, June 14, at St. John’s Episcopal Church in New Milford. Tickets to the March 22 performance will be honored in June, or may be returned for a full refund. Send inquiries to [email protected] or call 860-619-8110.

The Kent Singers will present our spring concert, Songs of the British Isles, on Sunday June 14 at 3:00 pm at St. Andrew’s Church in Kent. The concert will feature traditional folk songs, ballads, and shanties from England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales, with arrangements by Gustav Holst, Bob Chilcott, and Iain Farrington, alongside madrigals and part songs by Thomas Morley, Edward Elgar, and Gerald Finzi, and will be conducted by James Knox Sutterfield.

Due to brisk advance ticket sales, only a limited number of tickets will be available at the door for $20, with children under 12 admitted free; further information is available at 860-619-8110 or at kentsingers.com.
