Five Points Art Gallery Art Show

twenty2 wallpaper + textiles will open their first group exhibition, Proximity, featuring the diverse and interdisciplinary art practices of seventeen members of their creative team. As a private label manufacturer of wallpaper, textiles, and site-specific projects based in Bantam, CT, the company includes designers and artists known for their detailed, collaborative approach. Experts at transforming their customers’ artistic visions into a reality, Proximity marks the first time the team at twenty2 will feature the work of their own artistic collective.

The show’s name reflects the closeness of the team’s interconnected approach at twenty2 and brings that focus to a space where the work of their individual artists can come together. There will be paintings, photographs, fabric, prints, and more on display and for sale, conveying concepts from nostalgia to daydreams, identity, and everyday life. Many of the artists also developed custom-designed wallpapers and textiles for the exhibition, making use of the twenty2’s wide-format digital printers.

The exhibition will be featuring work from the following artists: Alyssa LaTorre, Amanda Glover, Ayla Newton, Jess Fauscette, Jossalyn Harris, Kara Cheetham, Kelly Wurster, Kelsey deLisser, Kim, Kumitis, Liz Lanspery, Meghan Ferrero, Michelle Scanlon, Natasha Naumec, Robertson Hartnett, Vanessa Gagnon, Virginia Grace DeGeorge and Wolfgang Lexington.

Proximity will be open from May 13th-19th from 1-7pm daily at the Five Points Gallery Annex in Torrington.  An opening reception will be held on May 13th from 6pm – 8pm for family, friends, and the local community.
