Craven Contemporary is excited to announce the opening of its next show David Shrigley “Good Vibes” on Saturday May 10th running through Sunday July 13th. The show comprises a curated selection of prints by the artist all sharing a ‘feel good’ factor.
Internationally renowned Shrigley (born 1968) is a British visual artist living and working in Brighton, England. His work is interspersed with witty observations and commentary that satirizes everyday life and awkward interactions. He attended the Glasgow School of Art and was nominated for the prestigious Turner Prize Award in 2013 following a major mid-career retrospective at the Hayward Gallery in London. His work is in many private collections as well as museums including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles and the National Galleries of Scotland in Edinburgh.
Shrigley’s work has previously been shown at Craven Contemporary in “Wordsmiths” in June 2020, “In Conversation With David Shrigley” in December 2021 and “The Animals” in April 2024.
