Did you know that the first weekend in June is National Trails Day? On this weekend communities nationwide celebrate our natural lands by walking, hiking, or biking their favorite local trails.

Connecticut is a Trails Day leader. Each year land trusts lead hundreds of events across the state. This year, NCLC will host two Trails Day events on Saturday, June 5 (rain date June 6) in Sherman and Brookfield.

We are thrilled to be leading in-person hikes again. However, due to the pandemic, Trails Day will look a little different this year. We will require advance registration, mask-wearing, and contactless registration. To register, click on the links below.
