Based in Soho since 2001, with an intensive focus on projects throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and New England, the firm has formally opened an office in Cornwall, CT to accommodate the growing demand for modern and sustainably-designed homes in the area.

“I fell in love with Litchfield County after visiting friends here for years. My family bought a joint property in West Cornwall to create a space of our own and have found that our New York City-based clients love the area as well,” said Jefferys. “Litchfield County is bountiful year-round with gorgeous rolling mountains, local lakes, and bucolic towns. We currently have three passive home projects in motion throughout Litchfield County, in addition to several home renovation projects.”

Jefferys’ own, partially passive West Cornwall home is a case design in the possibilities of contemporary, sustainable architecture in the rural market. The shared family home, which blends contemporary and traditional sensibilities with a passive addition to a 1948 English stone cottage, serves as a testament to her conscientious and thoughtful architectural design ability. “We are delighted to expand our work in the modern and passive house sectors within this country home market,” adds Jefferys.

Located at 24 Town Street South, West Cornwall, CT, the newest office marks the firm’s first satellite location as the company grows its second home business and builds new like-minded clientele in the greater Northeast.
