“Martin’s Boat” Screening Series at FotoDiary Gallery
Join FotoDiary Gallery at Kent Barns on July 26th for a screening of the film “Martin’s Boat.” The film honors the legacy of Martin Litton who saved the Grand Canyon by preventing the Marble Canyon Dam from being built. He believed the best way for people to understand how important it was to preserve the Grand Canyon was to have them experience this secret world from the river but not in just any boat. As an introduction, Scott Barnes will share his own experience going down the Colorado River and how he is paying homage to the beauty of the American South West through his photography. Refreshments will be provided and the gallery will be open until 8:30. Event starts at 6:30 pm.
