Burns Night (plus one) Celebration
Robert Burns’s birthday is actually January 25, but the Cornwall Library shall celebrate the 265th birthday of the beloved Scottish poet and lyricist a day later. Join the Friends of the Library and enjoy live and lively music with their bagpiper, fiddler/singer and concertina player, poetry and songs, homemade haggis (with a recitation of the “Address to the Haggis”), shortbread, and a wee dram or two of Burns’ preferred beverage.
Space is limited. Reservations and advance payment of $10 per person (21 or older). Attendees will be advised of a snow-date plan, if needed, on the following evening.
