Join writer Courtney Maum as she discusses her latest book, “The Year of Horses” with Victoria Hood.

Maum finds herself about to step back in the saddle for the first time in 30 years as a last attempt in pulling herself from the brink. She feels sadness deeply but found herself refusing to admit that she may be depressed. Courtney turns to horseback riding when therapy and medication failed to work for her. Her childhood passion serves as a way to recover the joy she once had as a child.
