Joy Harjo is the first Native American United States Poet Laureate. She has served three terms and is a member of the Muskogee Nation.

Harjo draws on storytelling and histories, indigenous myths and symbols in her writings.

Join us for a morning of mindfulness and creative reflection on the sacred wisdom of Native American poetry. We will walk the labyrinth, practice mindfulness meditation and make tiny wisdom books of our own concluding with lunch together in community.
