The Fragrance of Color

Sergeant Antiques & Gallery, a new shop recently opened by Deborah and Gary Sergeant in Woodbury, CT, is pleased to showcase the paintings of local Warren artist, Ronnie Maddalena. “The Fragrance of Color” is an intimate body of work featuring recent oil paintings on canvas and paper that celebrates the joy and color of the seasonal garden. The show opens on Friday November 6, 11:00am – 4:00pm, and will be on exhibit until Sunday November 29.

Located at 289 Main Street South next to the Woodbury Library and Klemm Real Estate, the new light-filled shop features not only the classic offerings of English, American and Continental furniture and accessories that the Sergeants are known for, but includes stunning exotic woods and country painted pieces favorable to the contemporary market. Maddalena’s vibrant, modern paintings are a wonderful complement to this exciting curation of antique furnishings and decorative objects.
