How can you surrender yourself to the Divine? You can’t. As long as the ego and will are involved, surrender is shallow at best, misleading at worst. Yielding is an act of grace – something you receive not something you do. In this retreat we will explore the nature of being surrendered.
During this retreat we will engage with a variety of introspective practices (mantra, passage meditation, and listening to the “still small voice”) to prepare ourselves for the grace of being surrendered. This is NOT a workshop, but a Stop Working Shop where we no longer struggle for awakening but realize we are already gifted with it.
