Short Story Discussion

On Thursday, August 1st at 4 pm, the David M. Hunt Library will host a discussion of Mary Costello’s short story “The Choc-Ice Woman” with Dathalinn O’Dea. Costello’s second book and first novel, Academy Street, won the Irish Novel of the Year award. Copies of the story are available online or at the library. This event is free and open to the public.

O’Dea, who lives in Falls Village, teaches English at Marist College with a specialty in modern Irish literature.
