Book Signing and Reading with Lisa Taddeo
New York Times bestselling and award-winning author of THREE WOMEN, Lisa Taddeo, will be reading from her new short story collection, GHOST LOVER, on Saturday, June 25th at 3 pm, at Judy Black Memorial Park and Gardens in Washington.
In these nine stories —which include two Pushcart Prize winners and a finalist for the National Magazine Award— Taddeo brings to life the fever of obsession, the blindness of love, and the mania of grief. In the title story, an army of anonymous cool girls at a dating service compose text messages for clients’ crushes. Other stories feature a star-studded political fundraiser in a Los Angeles mansion and a trio of women competing to win the heart of the slick guest of honor, and a tense hospital waiting room where an inseparable pair of hard-partying friends recreate the magic of their glory days when they least expect it.
This event is free and open to the public. If you are unable to attend this event, you may reserve signed copies of Taddeo’s books by calling The Hickory Stick Bookshop at 860-868-0525.
