Andy Sarkany; Living the Holocaust
Sponsored by Voices of Hope and the Holocaust Education Resource and Outreach (HERO) Center, Endre (Andy) Sarkany will speak to you regarding his personal experiences during the Holocaust, living under the brutality of the Soviet regime in Hungary and his eventual arrival in the United States following his escape from Hungary after the October 1956 uprising against the Soviet Union. (Andy) received his Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science and worked for both the McDonald Douglas Corporation and IBM.
The HERO Center is dedicated to helping educators, students and other groups come to a better understanding of the Holocaust.
