The Cattail Nature Skills Gathering is a chance to learn about wilderness skills such as friction fire, wildlife tracking, flint knapping, wild edible and useful plants, as well as woodworking, storytelling, and nature-based art-making.

The fee for the Gathering is on a sliding scale of $50 to $100 for the weekend (1 or both days.) Children under 12 come for free with paying adult. Those over 60 years old, people of color and indigenous folks are invited to attend free of charge.

Bring your family, camp out, spend time by the fire, make lifelong friends, learn a ton and feel at home.

Learn from teachers including: Arthur Haines, Andy Dobos, Arthur Sonny Boy Fields, Sara Moore, Lisl Meredith Huebner, Karolina Ksiazek, Justin Pegnataro, Hadley Gallen, Bear Iron Forge, Adelka Polak, William Ruiz and Evan Pritchard with more to be announced!

Arrive early on Friday June 3rd @ 7pm for an outdoor performance of Arm of The Sea Theater’s show DIRT: The Secret Life of Soil.
